To celebrate toady's Global Big Day of birding, an adult bald eagle and an immature bald eagle scatter from the bison carcass as a Cinnamon Black Bear boar comes running in last night. This is the bear that pulled the carcass out of Blacktail Ponds on Thursday night.

After the grizzly had his fill and left the carcass to go rest in the pine trees, the eagles, ravens, magpies, and coyotes all came to the bison carcass to feed. A bald eagle uses her wings for leverage to help remove meat from the carcass.
