After the grizzly had his fill and left the carcass to go rest in the pine trees, the eagles, ravens, magpies, and coyotes all came to the bison carcass to feed. A bald eagle uses her wings for leverage to help remove meat from the carcass. A Bald Eagle dives in for a bison carcass take over from another eagle in Yellowstone. The Bull Bison had died from injuries sustained fighting another bull in the rut. A bald eagle can have a wingspan of 5 to 7 feet with the females being the larger birds.
