Bull Moose at Sunset in Grand Teton A bull moose in the last rays of the setting sun in Grand Teton. From the his size and the size of his paddles, I’m guessing he’s around 9 years old. From October 9th 2025.

Always enjoyable to see grizzly 610, the 19 year old daughter of grizzly 399. In this photo, her nose is covered in dirt from digging for roots. Hopefully she is eating for more than one and will emerge from hibernation in the Spring with more of 399’s grandchildren. Grand Teton, October 5th, 2025.

When you’re the biggest, baddest male grizzly in an area, this is how you get to sleep on a bull elk carcass you have claimed and buried. This is the grizzly boar know as “Big Red”. Check out those claws. September 15th, 2025 in Yellowstone.
