A black bear mom and her Coy (cub of the year) forage for berries in Yellowstone. August 2025. I’m mostly sure this is the same sow I watched in her den all winter. Sadly, it looks like she may have lost a cub. The second photo shows the 3 of them when they had just come out of their den this spring.
